How does a GPS fleet tracker work?
The tracker reads signals from GPS satellites to fix its position. A built-in SIM sends that location over 4G LTE to your app. You see live location, speed and route history on iPhone, Android or a web browser. SpaceHawk and Konnect trackers are accurate within about 6 feet.
How much does fleet GPS tracking cost?
You buy the tracker once, then pay a data plan for each unit. Trackers start at $1.95 for the SpaceHawk Mini and top out at $399.95 for the AI dash cam. Plans run $8.95 to $49.95 a month, based on the tracker and update speed. Shipping is free on every tracker except the $1.95 SpaceHawk.
Is there a GPS tracker with no monthly fee?
Every live tracker needs cellular data, so ongoing tracking needs a plan. Two trackers build 12 months of service into the price. The Konnect OBD2 tracker is $199.95, then $8.95 a month after year one. The LandAirSea No Monthly Fee tracker is $249 with a year of 1-minute updates, then month-to-month plans.
Which fleet tracker should I choose: plug-in, hardwired or battery?
Choose by power source. An OBD2 tracker plugs in under the dash, with nothing to charge. That fits most 1996 and newer cars and light trucks. A hardwired tracker connects to the vehicle battery and stays out of sight. For trailers and equipment, a magnetic battery tracker lasts weeks to months per charge.
Is there a fleet tracking app for my phone?
Yes. Our GPS trackers come with a free app for iPhone and Android, and most add a web login.

How will my drivers feel about GPS tracking?
