Does it work for fleet vehicles?
Yes. Plug one tracker into each vehicle’s OBD-II port, and tracking starts once you activate it. Every truck and van shows on one live map in the app or on the web. Set geofence and speed alerts for each vehicle, and review up to a year of trip history.

What does it cost after the first year?
Your first 12 months of tracking are included in the $199.95 price. After that, the plan is $8.95 a month for unlimited live tracking every 3 seconds. You get a reminder before the plan renews. Plans are month to month, so you can cancel anytime.
Will it drain my car battery?
No. Konnect draws a tiny amount of power through the OBD-II port and drops into low-power sleep when the ignition is off. Your vehicle starts as normal, and there is nothing to charge.
Does it have a backup battery?
Yes. Konnect has a small internal backup battery that keeps it reporting for about 15 minutes after an unplug. You also get a tamper alert the moment someone pulls it from the OBD-II port. The rest of the time, it runs on vehicle power, so there is nothing to charge.
Will the Konnect fit my vehicle?
The OBD-II port is standard on most US cars and light trucks from 1996 on. Look under the dash, near the steering column. Teslas and most motorcycles don’t have a standard port, so Konnect won’t fit them.
Can I move it between vehicles?
Yes. Unplug it from one vehicle and plug it into another in seconds, with no tools. That makes Konnect handy for a shared work van or a spare truck.
How accurate is it, and how often does it update?
Usually within about 6 feet. Konnect reports every 3 seconds while the vehicle moves, and most trackers report once a minute. At highway speed, you get a fresh position about every 264 feet instead of every mile.
What happens if someone unplugs it?
You get a tamper alert right away. A small internal battery keeps Konnect reporting for about 15 minutes after an unplug, so you can see where the vehicle is.
Does it track driver behavior or engine data?
No. Konnect does not read engine codes, fuel data, idling or hard braking. Reading that data means polling the vehicle’s computer all day, which can open the door to electrical issues.
